OUR TEACHER-ENCOURAGER

Terrence E. C. Jones was born on the Caribbean Island of Barbados.  He committed his life to following Jesus Christ as a young adult and served as a youth leader at the Grace Bible Church.  Believing God’s call was upon his life to serve in Christian ministry, Terrence pursued undergraduate studies in Religious Education at Bluewater Bible College in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.  He went on to complete graduate studies at Baptist Bible Seminary and Clarks Summit University in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania.  During that time, he served as a ministry assistant at Community Worship Bible Church in Scranton.

Terrence returned to Barbados and conducted an itinerant preaching and teaching ministry in the local churches and on several different islands before joining the faculty at Bluewater Bible College.  God would later direct his steps to become the pastor of Grace Baptist Church, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands - a position he held for almost ten years.  He was founder and director of Caribbean Baptist Partners, an organization dedicated to providing support services for churches in the Eastern Caribbean, and Mission Liaison for the Puerto Rico/Virgin Islands Baptist Convention.  He currently resides in Florida, USA.
